About Bladerunners.

Welcome to my website I would like to introduce myself, I'm Lorna the proprietor/groomer at Bladerunners which several years ago was based in my childhood home of Norfolk which was also were I undertook my British dog grooming association qualification back in 2010. 

I moved to Devon back in 2018 to work within the Equine industry which is also a huge love of mine and has been a lifetime passion as well as canines but I felt I was always missing something and decided to groom again alongside my equine career early 2023 which by april 2024 i was back grooming full time.

I spent my childhood showing Irish Setters and over the years have owned many different breeds of dogs ranging from huskies to terriers and at current I have a beagle who is pictured along with my horse who are both almost 14 yrs old now. 

Q; what do you enjoy most about grooming and what's your favourite style?

A: My personal favourite grooming procedure is Hand Stripping i've always loved the transformation you see at the end of your groom. 

Q: How long have you worked within the animal industry?

A: I've had animals since before I can remember, I've owned horses since I was 7 years old and dogs have always been in my life. I studied at college in 1999 and have a diploma in Equine studies and also my city & guilds dog grooming.
